Now you might notice that Freddo is price marked 15p but my local shop has them on offer at 8 for 99p so that's 12.3p each



Now the school governors decided to ban unhealthy food from the school. That is food that, in their opinion, is unhealthy. We have formally debated it in the school's debating club - with me pointing out that a cream filled chocolate éclair has all major food groups and would, by their standards, be 'healthy' - with the governors' opinion proven unreliable the motion for healthy food was defeated - but we still have the ban



This lead to a supply and demand situation hehehe ... someone was smuggling chocolate bars which we will call errrr Frodos in and selling them at only 1p extra, of course the profit was actually just under 4p but the customers don't know.



I've made £2 so far :D



Problem is the danged school council is pushing for the ban to be lifted and the tuckshop re-opened ... .... tsk

I have saved up enough to get a laptop, now all my vamp stuff can be safe from the perils of the PC



... tech specs, errrrrrr ... it is blue



I managed to avoid PC World and bought one from a little corner shop, so I have my own system and driver discs to play with - I had listened to birra in House Eternal talking about Windows Vista, so I got the man to get me a XP Pro system disc



So far I have partitioned the hard drive into programs and data, put in firefox, my antivirus and firewall - I have gone through the startup and shut off anything that really does need to be switched on at start up and I have switched off prefetch



I am now working my way through stabb's security advice on it ... this is going to be soooo epic



I did my puppy dog eyes routine and managed to get a free satchel for it, but he made me buy the mouse



We have a USB hard drive that backs up all the PC stuff on the first Monday evening of every month (my job) - that had made it sooo easy to move all my stuff across without having to hog the PC



gotta go suck gloop to make up for the hole in my savings account

The people who are 'they' have really messed up the Easter Holidays this year



We had a Fri - Mon break about two weeks ago for the religious part and now have a two week holiday called 'Easter' for some reason I can't quite figure out.



Anyhow in a few days we have had rain, sunshine, hail and snow ... a good start



Fish pond boss thought I would back at work for two weeks around the Easter festival, but I wasn't so now the work is all backed up ... typical. Is OK I have cleaned out the deglooper and I am raring to go



I have bought a wicker bird box this year and am now trawling through eBay for one of those wireless pin hole cameras to try and mount in it ... artemkacam - coming to a PC near you



I have also to clean out my bird feeders. They have eaten all the fat balls and just left the little green nets that they come in ... but they have ignored the nuts altogether, these are just a solid black lump with white fluffy bits oozing through the wire cage.



Oh well reader, I have added some books and movies to the database if you get bored, I am now off to suck gloop

I find I had a few hours between ponds today, so I dive into the database to see if I can start to top up the entries that were lost .... VR was really really laggy, strange that usually only happens during the nightly backup which is about 10am here. This was about 3pm - I do hope any new backup isn't in my prime time :(
